Scalability

BlueSwarm is able to scale to meet any organization’s needs utilizing a process known as Elastic Load Balancing.

Elastic Load Balancing allows BlueSwarm to increase and decrease the computing power available to your organization as you grow from a handful of users to tens or hundreds of thousands of users. This is an integral part of BlueSwarm, and comes at no extra cost.

What does this mean for you?  It means that as your organization grows, so too will BlueSwarm, to easily serve your fundraising team.  BlueSwarm allows you to focus on what’s important: raising money and connecting with your supporters instead of worrying about adding more hardware and software.

Elastic Load Balancing works by distributing the number of users amongst the available instances of BlueSwarm, so as to avoid problems caused by large numbers of users accessing the system simultaneously.  Additional instances of BlueSwarm are dynamically created and removed by the system based on your particular usage needs.  This results in less strain on available computing resources and negates the need for racking hardware to support more users.  Elastic Load Balancing happens in real-time, so there is no lag as more people log on to the system.
