Washington DC – In Thursday’s Reed Award banquet, Westford MA based, eNilsson captured a Reed Award for the BlueSwarm fundraising platform (previously known as ElephantTrakker). This year’s banquet was held at the Washington, DC Marriot Hotel.
BlueSwarm took first place in the category “Best Online Fundraising Tool”. Over the course of the 2008 election cycle, BlueSwarm, a political fundraising tool, processed and managed over $100 million. The BlueSwarm was built for the Mitt Romney for President campaign as a, first of its kind, social networking political fundraising tool. By the end of the Romney campaign, the ElephantTrakker was used to raise and manage over $65 million.
The bi-partisan Reed Awards recognize excellence in campaign management, political consulting and political design, and bestowed honors last night in more than 50 categories for television ads, direct mail, get-out-the-vote operation, collaboration and technology.
Winners, selected by a panel of over 30 judges representing the industry's best campaigning experts including: George Stephanopolous, Dick Morris, Christine Pelosi, Joe Trippi, Christine Todd Whitman, and Mike McCurry.
